been quite busy lately. being a design school student in tp, it generally means i don't get any free time. they just flood us with assignments. only upside is no exams, ever.right now i'm supposed to do a portfolio on a design icon (i chose spiderman, muahahaha), but i'm just slacking in front of the com now, waiting for my parents to come home with breakfast, and it's like, what, 1.07pm?i made a spiderman collage the other day, put together some pictures i found on the net, which i know is illegal, and made it look like a page from a comic book. sad thing is, i didn't save the links i got the pictures from, so if i want to give someone credit for it i have to start looking for the exact same pictures again. sigh...had to present the collage to the class and lecturer the next day. my printer's screwed up, so i just presented the collage on my laptop and held it up for everyone to see. sad thing is, while the others were presenting, i closed the laptop screen. by the time it was my turn, i flipped over the screen and it had went into hibernating mode, exactly as if it had shut down, and my laptop takes a llooooonnnngggg time to start up, so i was like trying to walk as slowly as i could to the front to buy time for the laptop, but still it refused to speed up, so i put it down on the table in front, turned to the class and talked some crap. super nervous la.at the end of every presentation the lecturer would give us comments. to me, he said to sort out all the technical problems before presentation. i was nodding to him, but inside i was thinking, "hey, i didn't know that would happen, don't blame me..."so now for the portfolio thing, i have to do one short story on spiderman, one essay on how stan lee came up with him, an imaginery interview with spiderman, and a fake newspaper article on spiderman. plus for Creative Storytelling i need to do a review on something. gonna watch spiderman tomorrow, soo, what the heck, i'll do the movie.guess i better get cracking...
1:04 PM
And through it all, the rise and fall...
