went to school with betty today for an interview for the Student Ambassadors for design school. abit stressful during the interview itself, asked me questions where i had to decide whether or not i should lie and give a good impression or not. fortunately, i stuck with not lying and still managed to get a good impressions from them, since i'm in, and so is betty. praise God.

after the interview thing we went to the library to get betty's friend, who is not from TP, so i'm wondering what the heck betty did to psycho her into coming all the way there from woodlands. i didn't really interact with her much, if at all.

went down to design canteen for lunch, where another of betty's friend, lydia, joined us. this one i interacted with considerably more, since, a)we met before, and b)she's the crazy one. and also she happens to be the same height as the person who decided to come over to my table at the canteen and accidentally splash my whole face with water from the bottle i gave her for Christmas, and may i say that this friend also happens to be the only friend to accompany me from YI to TP. so, since lydia and this friend from YI happens to be the same height, me, being me, had a field day in making fun of her.

after the lunch they wanted to watch blades of glory at tampines mall, so i went with them. i would much rather had watched shrek 3 or pirates 3, but blades wasn't half bad. quite good, and funny, actually. now i partly know what james was talking about when he said it rocked. haha.

and to the people actually bothering to read this: i haven't watched shrek 3 and pirates 3 yet, hint hint, wink wink.

so came back home, shagged, cause i after hours of tossing around in bed the ngiht before i only managed a few hours sleep.

so sad, the 9 o'clock show ended last night. channel 8 finally came up with something decent and now they're trying to replace the show with another crappy show helmed by young people. channel 8 should stick to what it does best, family-orientated drama serials, instead of trying to mass produce "the next big thing", giving lead roles to lesser actors. i mean no offence to joanne peh (although i mean every offence to the lead guy of the new show), but seriously, compared to the veterans, these young guys suck. think about it, the previous show had so little young "eye candy", most of them are already above 30 and married. i'm not sure if the person playing "ziling" is one of the young guns, but her look suits her childish character. looking at this new show, even the trailers suck! man, i think they're jsut relying on the eye candy factor.

another sad news, carrie chong left 98.7fm!!!! when did this happen?! i wasn't there! so sudden... ok, well, may i haven't been listening to carrie's show, but she's like, one of the lead people in the station! her leaving is like the steve jobs leaving apple. let's hope the station can come up with another person like her, or train one of the other DJs...

guess whose back.

haha. haven't been blogging for the past few days. might not seem like much compared to the other times when i really stopped blogging, but this time it's not my fault. the damn internet router had to fail on me. now i'm using the desktop to type. sigh...

remembering the times when i could sign in to blogger without having to type in my pass word and email. for some reason the desktop never seems to be able to remember my used and pass. at least i still get good connection in school.

alright, what have i been up to. ah yes, i'm currently on a five-week break. wait, lemme rephrase that for those of you who did't catch it.

I HAVE NO SCHOOL FOR THE NEXT FIVE WEEKS!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! FREEDOM FROM ASSIGNMENTS!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! CHANCE TO SUAN PEOPLE LIKE MIN AND SHARON AND OTHERS!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!! IN YOUR FACE!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

had to get it off my chest. feels better now. anyways.

went to al-azhar to meet up with the former 4e2 classmates on friday. finally seeing edward after such a long time. not many people went though. sharon, yuting, zilah, syazanah, fahmy, kartik, fiez, haziq, kok, ed, wj and james. always a joy to see james, my korean gay partner. bu thten again, he was the gay partner of so many people. if i remember correctly i was number 5 or 6. good times.

ate at al-azhar, before walking over to bukit timah plaza for pool. i played two or three matches. i'm still not very good. sigh. playing with people like greg and leon humiliated me enough to stay away from pool before min forced me to play the other day. min, you still owe me a game of foozball. how about next week? oh wait, I DON'T HAVE SCHOOL NEXT WEEK!!! sorry, had to say that. went to service today. good message, although i had trouble staying awake at some parts. too tired already. worse thing is i was seated at the 5th row from the front, so i'm not sure if pastor saw me. so embarassing. don't know what will happen if he did.

"this boy here is falling asleep while i'm preaching! please, cell group leaders, note down his name, and boy, meet me after service for some counselling." haha, like that'll ever happen. would it?

hmm, now is a time to start planning ahead.

week 1-->EMERGE WEEK!! WOOTS! hope the combined TP and RP school will beat all the other polys and universities!

5.11 am in the morning, and why the heck am i still online? i have no idea.

was watching My Chemical Romance interviews just now, maybe that's why. yea, even after so long i'm still crazy over them. to people who think it's just something that will fade away for me, in your face!!!! haha...

the interviews i watched were added on may 16th, which happens to be min's birthday too. see, im just fated to come across it since i looked at them just 4 or 5 days after it was posted. when will MCR ever come to singapore!!! COME!!!!! God please let them come. Amen.

as you can see from above, no work was mentioned. that's because i didn't do any, and that's after me whining that i have so much work to do. heh, at least i don't have to go to school on mondays.

don't know if i mentioned this in the last post, but i got a new wallet! woots. MYUK, from "the wallet shop". not sure about my purchase at first but the more i look at it the more i love it. it happens to have exactly the same outward design as my brother's wallet, just that his is black and mine is brown. screw him for trying to copy me weeks before i got my wallet.

and i also have this packet of van houten chocolates, those little chocolate balls with almond nuts inside them. been wanting to eat it again for so long. last time i ate it was, if i remember correctly, on the way home from genting with wj, sharon and meihui. miss that trip terribly, more for the friends than for the place. freaking rain caused the rides outside to be stopped. but there's a chance for me to go back there again though. betty said she wanted to go overseas for a holiday and seemed interested when i mentioned genting. hope this plan won't fall through though. really want to go back there again with my friends. that'll be like the second time i go on vacation with friends. some other people might have gone many times but ah well, a second time is good enough for me, at least at the moment.

oh, and good luck to kok, and i suppose to edward too (although i don't think he'll be reading this) for your respective exams later this year, and when you guys make it come to TP!!! super far, but super fun!!!

no lessons today, ok, yesterday. the whole school had this Campus Care Network day, where students organise stalls to raise funds for needy students in our school. i was supposed to meet with my friends at 2pm, and i woke up at 1.30. if it was like west mall, i would have made it (my record was 20 minutes, from the time i woke up to the time i reached there). but it was TEMASEK POLY....

by the time i arrived it was 3.30 i think. and my friends were still there. haha. walked around, looked at the stalls, and i only bought one thing: a badge which says "i love to study, but i don't have exams, unlike you." for those of you that i still haven't gloated to about yet, TP Design school has no exams, just assignments. muahaha.

headed down to tampines mall after that. finally bought a new wallet from "the wallet shop". my old converse one, given by wj and james for my birthday, was spoilt. the glue at the coin compartment came off, and all the coins kept dropping out. still gonna keep it though, store it somewhere in my room. i don't really recieve presents on my birthday's from friends.

abit tight on cash nowadays. it's like every week i have something i need to spend on. this week it was min's birthday present. not that i mind, since it only comes once a year, and as long as she's happy, i don't get any bruises (just kidding). hope next week will be better. really gotta treat betty to a meal or something. she bought me the chocolate hello panda and helped me out when i ran out. and also maybe i'll go change a like 5 one-dollar coins and play foozball at the students lounge. so far i've never paid cause i didn't really have the money, so gotta "give back" to my friends. the ComDI projects are really stressing people out. screw them all for coming up with something like that.

and oh, just in case you're wondering, i'm not up at 2.48am rushing projects. heck no, i have saturday, sunday and monday to do that if needed. i'm only up cause i was watching the special extended version of lord of the rings. been wanting to get my hands on them for a long time, and not that she'll see this but kudos to jasmine for lending it to me. managed to only watch the first one so far. think i'm gonna turn in now.

haven't blogged in a while. hectic over the past few days. let met start with what happened on saturday.

we had an ophix gathering, for both FOW and FOC people. got to know a few people from the camp, but what i was really looking forward to was meeting my old ophix mates from the workshop. quite a few came, compared to the other meetings. we had activites from the FO squeezed into one day, station games and all that, and also a final clash. although my group lost the final clash, we won overall. muahahaha.

sunday after service i went to cineleisure at orchard to meet with my group mates to discuss our project, but ended up slacking more than working. haha.

rest of the week, school work. haha. today we didn't have class though. went to school at 9am (remember, it's in tampines, and to a batok guy like me, that means waking up way early).

nothing much to blog about. why? cause i didn't get much sleep over the past 2 weeks, so i can't remember much. haha. anyways, got to go now. mom wants my laptop to watch her stupid korean drama.

just watched the trailer for both "harry potter and the order of the phoenix" and "pirates of the caribbean: at world's end". i must say, these two movies are the ones to look out for. coming out july 12 and may 24 respectively, i must say that if the movies do the trailers justice, then we're gonna be in for one heck of a show. okay, maybe two hecks of two shows.

personally, i'm looking forward to POTC:AWE more than HP5, after seeing how the previous movies did. also, this will probably be the last POTC:AWE movie, so i'm hoping they will end it with a big bang and not like most other trilogies that end small.

i really liked two parts of the trailer, one at 1.51 where orlando asks keira on a ship infested with enemies they're trying to fight off, "will you marry me?", to which keira replies, "i don't think now is the best time!"

the other part is where the music for the trailer matches the sword fight between johnny and the guy playing davy jones, right after the "will you marry me" part. super cool. it's like their swords clash at a constant rate, like 1,2,3,4, 1,2,3,4, 1,2,3,4. cant describe it, so GO WATCH OR I'LL HUNT YOU DOWN FOR MAKING ME POST THE LINK FOR NO REASON!

suddenly have the urge to watch POTC 1 and 2, but then again it's 2.30 and i still have an assignment to complete, so, some other time then.

been quite busy lately. being a design school student in tp, it generally means i don't get any free time. they just flood us with assignments. only upside is no exams, ever.

right now i'm supposed to do a portfolio on a design icon (i chose spiderman, muahahaha), but i'm just slacking in front of the com now, waiting for my parents to come home with breakfast, and it's like, what, 1.07pm?

i made a spiderman collage the other day, put together some pictures i found on the net, which i know is illegal, and made it look like a page from a comic book. sad thing is, i didn't save the links i got the pictures from, so if i want to give someone credit for it i have to start looking for the exact same pictures again. sigh...

had to present the collage to the class and lecturer the next day. my printer's screwed up, so i just presented the collage on my laptop and held it up for everyone to see. sad thing is, while the others were presenting, i closed the laptop screen. by the time it was my turn, i flipped over the screen and it had went into hibernating mode, exactly as if it had shut down, and my laptop takes a llooooonnnngggg time to start up, so i was like trying to walk as slowly as i could to the front to buy time for the laptop, but still it refused to speed up, so i put it down on the table in front, turned to the class and talked some crap. super nervous la.

at the end of every presentation the lecturer would give us comments. to me, he said to sort out all the technical problems before presentation. i was nodding to him, but inside i was thinking, "hey, i didn't know that would happen, don't blame me..."

so now for the portfolio thing, i have to do one short story on spiderman, one essay on how stan lee came up with him, an imaginery interview with spiderman, and a fake newspaper article on spiderman. plus for Creative Storytelling i need to do a review on something. gonna watch spiderman tomorrow, soo, what the heck, i'll do the movie.

transitlink cheats your money.

you apply for the new ezlink card, pay a $3 deposit. then when your card is ready, they just freeze your old card, no matter the amount inside. then when you get your new card you have to pay another $3 to "unlock" the card. and you can only get a refund of your money in the old card from some stations only. what the freak! like, most people won't even bother to go all the way there for 10 dollars, but when you add it up transitlink must earn like, millions of dollars in total. shit them man. freaking cheaters. just cause they're too stupid to stop people from cheating money out of them during bus rides, doesn't give them the right to cheat back on us. an eye for an eye, the whole world goes blind. asswipes...

sorry for the colourful vocabulary used above. just need to get it off my chest.

so anyways, second day of class today for ComDI, first day of class for CreaSt (Creative Storytelling). CreaSt seems to be a fun course. lecturer said there's gonna be alot of movie screenings and we'll discuss the movie and stuff. also, she asked us to watch more movies, so i wouldn't mind using this as an excuse!

the same girl won't shut up. her voice is getting more irritating each day, with her stupid fake slang and lazy drawl. and her face, can't stand it. looks like a horse with braces. i mean seriously, she looks like a horse cause she always shows her teeth and it protrudes out of her mouth. why are her teeth so obvious? she never shuts her mouth. likes to act clever too. tries to answer every question, although like 60% of her answers are freaking pointless. but she got embarassed in class today. the lecturer asked about iconic people, and she shoots of her mouth, then the lecturer mentioned alfred hitchcock (not sure if i got the spelling right), and she just couldn't stop herself in time and said loudly "who's that?" whole class laughed at her. muahaha, i'm so evil.

TP has this campus crusade for Christ thingy, along with all the other polys and universities in singapore. attended the first meeting today, not bad. kinda like cell group, actually, just that there are different people from different church backgrounds. kinda fun. joined them for dinner afterwards at the coffeeshop opposite the school. had beef lasagne. tasted ok, but then again, i haven't really at lasagne before so i don't know what it's supposed to taste like. my friend said it was crap. haha. went home, the journey was surprisingly fast. maybe cause i fell asleep on the the train. don't remember hearing any stop after bedok, but maybe that's cause i stuffed my ears full of chemical romance. when i woke up, it was buena vista already. i also found the best seat in the train. it's the one right at the side of each carriage, two-seater, and it's blue. the other colours kinda ruin your mood, like the green looks so sickly, and the orange is just plain weird, but blue is soothing.

had first day of school yesterday. had "Communicating Design Ideas", otherwise known as ComDI. not bad, got to meet some new people and make new friends. but there's this irritating girl in the class who can't seem to stop voicing out her opinions. whenever the lecturer asks a question she's always trying to answer. it's not a bad thing, but after a while it's like, can you please shut your mouth for five minutes?! when the lecturer asks a question and she doesn't answer, it's pretty obvious to everyone that she doesn't know the answer, so talking too much does have it's disadvantages. also, we were given an assignment (on the first day! what the heck, no mercy...) whereby we have to research icons and find out what makes an icon an icon. and this girl kept asking if she could use anime. i mean, SHUT UP! her voice is so freaking irritating with her fake slang. and she kept asking until in the end the lecturer gave up and just said she could. guess he thought that since this first assignment wouldn't be graded there's no point in continuing to suffer needlessly listening to her irritating voice.

after the class (we were released one and a half hour early to look for icons), my new friends and i had lunch and headed to tampines mall. we didn't really do much though. we just walked around and ended up in the food court thinking of what we should do. my group decided on doing macdonalds and kfc, and i'm not quite sure what the other group did. doesn't matter. haha. so, yeah, we sat there not doing much, and in the end we headed to the arcade for pool. two of the girls left and we played only a while before leaving. i seriously suck at pool. these two guy were like, pros, doing what seemed to be impossible shots for me, although they both lost one game each due to bad luck. white ball went in after the black one. out of us four, i was like the worst. haha.

went to expo today for a carnival for "Family Day". Sun Ho gave us a concert. too bad, i would've been a fan if i could understand chinese well. but CHC still loves Sun, despite the fact that among us there are many english-centred people. Milk showed up too. i don't really know who is he, but after watching him, i know he can dance. haha.

after the concert the cell group went to eat at the carnival booths. we queued for like an hour plus, due to thhe number of people there. some of us gave up and decided to go somewhere else, so we were left with a total of 7 people after friends from other cell groups joined our table. in the end we had too much food and couldn't finish it so it was like a waste of time and resources. the reason why it took so long was that the church gave everyone $15 worth of coupons each to buy food or play games, so many people ended up buying in bulk, thus the long wait for food. some poor people couldn't buy any after queueing for so long because by the time they reached the front the stock was already out. i managed to cut the queue for one stall selling popcorn chicken, fries, and stuff, because my friend who also happens to be in my group at school was already queueing, so i started quite near the front. but due to preparation time and the bulk of orders they have to take i only managed to get our food after an hour or so.

also, since the rest of the cell group left to eat somewhere else, we were left with a mass of unused coupons. we could have exchanged them for ezone tokens had we realised we could like, five minutes earlier. when we went to the exchange stall they had just closed, so the opportunity to get like, a month's worth of free arcade tokens was gone.

cabbed back home with min and her friend justin. total cost was like, $19.60. justin paid me 6, min paid me 5, and since i was the last person in the cab, i gave the driver the rest. heart ached when i gave him the ten dollar note. been spending too much money nowadays. the week i try to start saving i have to pay this much for cab. ah well, Jehovah Jireh, God is my Provider.

now i'm blogging, and i haven't even done my assignment yet. gonna have to rush it after i finish this post, and wake up early to go to tampines mac at 10 to meet with my group and compile what each of us did into one. my guess is we'll probably be done with it quite fast and end up sitting there and chatting until it's time to leave for school. ah well, better get started in the assignment.
