had our first drawing essentials class today, and what can i say, my drawing is crap. when the lecturer saw my second sketch, he said, and i quote, "what the hell is this?" hahaha. gives you an idea of how bad it is. the day before we had 3D art fundamentals, where we were asked to do two sculptures out of clay, the first one doing it blindfolded. i have to say, the one i did blindfolded is kinda cute. haha. second one was a complete failure, but still slightly cute :) gonna post pics of my "masterpieces" later on.

can't get enough of listening to sweet child o' mine by guns n' roses. i know it's damn old, but hey, it's a classic, it never gets old. irritated the heck out of adeline, kept singing the song, and in the end i managed to get the song stuck in her head. i rule.

went to
the coffeeshop near bukit batok inter with sharon and wj for dinner. had quite a good time hanging out with them. after dinner we walked around west mall, and i freaking lost my sketchbook. on the very day i bought it! argh! went around the whole of west mall looking for it, tracing my steps from the arcade at the fifth floor, to a shop at the second floor, to the sale area outside west mall, before going back to the converse shop where i finally found it. thank God. haha.

i realised only recently how good God is to me. He doesn't really let bad things happen to me. i'll name a few examples.

i missed the dateline to enroll into TP, but i went down and managed to register myself personally.

the other day i left my earpiece in a cab i shared with yuan mei , rachel and wj. wj got off first, then rachel and me. i only realised it later and called yuan mei when she just stepped out of the cab. she chased after it and recovered it for me. the day she returned it to me, i left my phone at mos burger in west mall. i didn't realise it till i was at expo hall 1, like an hour's journey from there. i freaked out, naturally. but turns out someone had took the phone when he saw i left it there and passed it to me when he reached expo. apparently the girls in my cell group saw the phone there, and they told him not to let me know and let me panic first. i have a suspicion as to who was the one who suggested this, and i'm guessing her name consist of two same words, starting with "m", ending with "n", with an "i" in between those two, and happens to be my best friend. like the saying goes, who needs enemies when you have friends like these? haha

alright, it's time i unravelled my masterpieces. you must be apprehensive of the unmatched quality and infinite skill i possess. i shall show you the clay models first.

cute right? haha like gingerbreadman from shrek.
this was supposed to look like the michelin tires mascot, but it turned out like that -_-

this is a OHP! haha, bring back any memories from sec school days? i drew it from the side so it would be easier, totally 2d. haha.
didn't have time to finish this. halfway through there was a break and of course, breaks are more important than work :pi'm supposed to draw jem, but i only manage to sketch the chair he was sitting on before the lecturer told us to stop and started criticising our work. haha. that's all, have to go do research on some guy named frank stella -_-

woots! i'm done with all 25 episodes of ghost hunt! yay! haha, way to end the series, that was one heck of a case. didn't think that guy actually had anything in him at all...

well, what's next? my guess would probably be jigoku shoujo, ie.
"the girl from hell". saw an ad for it on arts central, and it looked pretty interesting. tried to find it on crunchyroll but guess what, they removed it! argh! and watch from youtube is just retarded, since those idiot-uploaders always cut the episodes into 3 parts. that was the reason i switched to crunchyroll, besides the much faster loading speed.

this is my 91st post. haha, just 9 more and i'll hit three digits. about time too. yuting started her blog around the same time as mine, maybe later by a few days, but already have more than 100. guess i really don't update much...

i'm blogging some random crap now, to let the video load. so please bear with me.

i got tiberium wars on my laptop! wahaha, finally, i'm starting to get more games for that thing. almost got battlefield 2142, but my bro said my laptop didn't have something, can't remember what it was. would have loved to play it though. been a while since i last played a first person shooter. at least my bro says that game is a fps, not too sure though, but ah well.

i really want to watch the movie Hot Fuzz, not sure if anyone else is interested. looked pretty funny in the ad, and it's english! when i saw the ad for the first time at cineleisure i thought i was french or something. just hope it isn't another one of those movies that have ads that disguise it as something else, like Adam's Apples. that one was over the top. when wj and i first saw the ad we laughed our ass off, but when i actually saw that movie, there wasn't anything funny at all.

hmm, done with it. haha. looking forward to the next anime. i'll finally be able to do something on the train besides listening to radio. but i'll miss my "muttons in the morning" :(

went for paintball yesterday! wahaha, damn fun, but not that fun when you get hit. haha. i'm proud to say i was the first casualty of the day. first game, my team ran up, with me running along. next thing i knew, i got hit in my arm. first reaction, "God that hurts." but it wasn't nearly as painful as i thought. haha. the bruise doesn't even hurt now. some people didn't get off as lucky though. betty had a shot in the leg that still stung after the whole thing was over, and this (poor) guy got shot in the next twice in quick succession. another guy was shot in the butt, so he stood up, was running back to his home base, and got shot 3 times in the back. ouch.

end of the day, four teams, my team got 2nd. "officially" we got first, but technically, we counted ourselves and we had second. ah well. went over to north point (i think, it's the one next near yishun mrt) to slack. many people left after that and ended up we had 5 people going to far east, because eugene wanted to get new slippers. from the point of leaving the mrt to when i got home, i was super shag. damn tired, walked around with them like a zombie. angie kept saying i "emo in one corner again". haha.

sent angie to the bus stop after that, and found out my dad would be fetching me home, whihc was a good thing since i was wondering how i was going home with 4 dollars in my wallet and -66cents in my card. couldn't even send angie home. haha, she got home safe though, so no worries :p

reached home around 9 plus, didn't even change, not to mention bathe, and lay down on my bed. didn't take me long to fall asleep, and next time i was up, it was 2am. went back to sleep, woke up at 8, went back to sleep, woke up at 9.45, and decided to get up. did the stupid online thing to choose the electives i would be taking for next semester, but gave up at 11 plus because the whole thing lagged alot. went to lie down on my parent's bed, and woke up at 1 plus, did the thing, shut down the com, bathed, slacked, came online, chatted awhile with wj, checked out some articles, and blogged.

it appears that vince mcmahon, the guy in charge of WWE, is dead. i don't believe it, think it's all a scheme to boost ratings. call me unsympathetic or whatever, i don't care. you know how he died? car bomb. HOW UNORIGINAL IS THAT! there was a camera following him the whole time, from him leaving the ring to the him stepping into the limo, and the blast, and it cuts off. and if you look at a picture of the car bomb, i think there's too much pyro anyways. i'll let that slide, since WWE pumps alot of money into pyro for the wrestlers' big entries, and it would be available in the building and if you know some guy who knows some guy who hates mcmahon, it wouldn't be hard to acquire them. but thing is, when someone sees an explotion, they either run, be it toward or from the explosion, or duck. they don't switch off the freakin camera, which could only mean the shot right after it gets cut off gives away the whole thing. to add into all this, "no body was recovered from the explosion". i mean, even the bali bombings, where the suicide bombers stuck explosives to themselves and set it off, had faces of the bombers or random body parts recovered, amongst the rubble in the whole building. i don't think it'll be hard to look for them in the remains of an exploded limo.

anyways, why do i bore you with this? i don't know, just to make a point. i don't really care that much, actually, since i stopped watching wrestling long ago, but i just wanted to voice my opinions. haha. so anyways, i'll be off doing more important things, ie. watch ghost hunt. cya

didn't sleep a wink. stayed up the whole night, for reasons that are stupid.

firstly, i came home at 4. went out with rachel, wj, and yuan mei to sarah's house (at upper thompsom road!) to celebrate her birthday. not that she'll see this, but, happy birthday!!! haha. went over to her house to meet up with her, before going to the nearby prata house. lemme tell you, that place has some fantastic prata. haha. who wants to go? i'll go with you and at the same time go find sarah. haven't been able to see much of her anyways.

so yea, we had prata, went back to her house (sneakily, since her parents were asleep and she didn't wanna get busted for being out so late), and yuan mei changed into one of sarah's short pants (she was so happy she could fit into them. haha) and we took sarah's dog out for a walk to the playground, where we sat and slacked. sat there till wj remembered he brought along poker cards, and we started playing till 2.48am, before sending sarah home and taking a cab back to bukit batok.

was planning to blog some more, but something just ruined my mood completely. may post pictures next time.

hmm, the paintball seems to be back up, although i think there'll be like, 10-14 people attending, if we're lucky. gonna find someone i have a grudge with in the SA and give them hell. haha, haven't found someone like that yet. i predict i'll have lots of bruises and aches, but hey, all in the name of fun. just hope no one in the SA has a grudge against me.

went to check out the safety stuff from the site, and guess what, all they give you is a mask and a thin foam chest protector. talk about pain. heh, i might be kind and just aim for people's shoes, but then again, i'm not that good a shot and will probably hit somewhere else instead. muahahahahahahahaha...

can't wait to see everyone again. it's amazing how some people have the ability to make you miss them even though you just saw them recently. haha.

MOI people, could you tell me which design elective you gonna choose? would very much like to know where everyone is going. and while you're at it, tell me which CDS elective you hope to get into also. tried to check jsut now, but my com's being a real pain in the... knee.

going this late into the night is starting to get dull. no one to accompany you. sigh, and i've only got another few days to go this late before school starts, although judging by what happened in the last block, i'm still gonna stay this late, just not as often. haha.

there's no one to talk to. they're either sleeping, gaming or dead. kidding about the last one. yea i know it's lame, i'm bored.

ah heck, think i'm gonna drag my lazy...knee to my bed now.

celebrated jem's birthday today. original plan:

1)everyone meet at somerset at 5pm and pool the cash, except for jem, who comes at 5.20pm

2)2 or 3 people buy the present while the rest walk around orchard with jem

3)everyone head over to marina south for steamboat

4)surprise jem with cake i bought at steamboat place

and the plan was screwed up, in the end, mainly by:

1)latecomers, and people who couldn't make it at the last minute

2)everyone thought going to marina south was pointless, since we were already in orchard, where places to eat are aplenty

3)me forgetting to get the cake out of the fridge -_-

so, in the end, last minute changes here and there, and we still managed to have a good time. kinda hard not to, when you hang around with us. haha. bought another cake, and ended up going to pepper lunch for dinner, then walking around orchard with no aim in mind, and going home after that. did some crazy things, like trying to throw jem into the foutain, and doing the gatsby commercial, with me as the lead guy. yea i know it's overdone, but fun :)

iiiiiiii.... can give you gaaaaaaaaaaaaaatssssssssssbyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...

not gonna blog much, just let the pics do the talking.

interesting card, isn't it? it's pieces of cardboard with messages on the back, strung together on a stick, as in, a literal stick, from a tree. haha. all credit goes to betty.

if you're wondering, yes, the two in front are twins. gina and germaine.

got hooked unto another anime, ghost hunt. fortunately, im doing ok with speeding through this manga (knew about it earlier today/yesterday, and currently done with 17 episodes) and the series end at 20 something.

you guys should watch it, it's nice. it's about this girl who through a series of events end up working part time for a guy who owns a ghost hunting business, where clients with problems with the supernatural come knocking. the anime is shown on a case by case basis, as in one case takes 2 to 4 episodes to solve, so you can jump cases without missing anything. no point in doing that though. haha.

the only thing that carries throughout the whole of the 20plus episodes is the crush girl has for the guy, which is funny to watch. the girl started out by hating the guy's guts, but by the end of the first case she developed a crush on him because he was apparent so handsome that he was irresistable. it's quite funny to watch how he completely ignores her at times.

well anyways, enough about the anime. in a little over 12 hours, i'll be setting out together with most of the class to celebrate jem's birthday. belated birthday, to be exact, by 4 days. seriously, i thought planning birthdays weren't this difficult, but now, it's like my eyes have opened. haha. wish everyone would just immediately reply when they see a message asking for their confirmation of attendance instead of looking at it and putting it aside, eventually forgetting about it. i'm not saying everyone does that, heck, i'm not even saying that anyone did that, maybe they just didn't see the message or something, but still, wish they would reply faster. at least most of them bothered to. 1 minute after i sent the first confirmation message 7 people replied, and it was already quite late. our class has many "owls".

i'm bored. then go to sleep, dammit! you might say, but i'm too lazy move my body to my bed. maybe should just sleep here, on the chair.

and get my body aching all over tomorrow? i'll stick with the bed.

gonna see everyone again later :) today will be a good day.

i have nothing to do right now, absolutely nothing, besides staring at the monitor and random surfing of the net. nothing to occupy me at all.

and i'm loving it.

muahahahahaha! sorry, random outburst. slept at 6am yesterday this morning. why was i still up so late/early? cause i didn't feel like sleeping. haha. just kept surfing the net and stuff. ooh, i finally, after like a year, updated my friendster account. so now i'm no longer in YISS and have the tagline of "15, single and desperate". i didn't change it to 16 or 17, just in case you were wondering. must have been really bored back then when i wrote that.

also, accepted a few new friend requests. surprised when i saw angie's, seeing as i only knew her since the SA camp. some people really do take the initiative.

and why am i boring you out right now with some totally irrelevant posts about nothing, nothing, and absolutely nothing? because my brain isn' really functioning right now. to me this is just another site that i'm surfing, which happens to enable me to do something with my fingers besides clicking.

yaadeeyadeeyadeeyadaaaaaa....

next monday, jem's birthday celebration! even though his birthday is today. which reminds me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEM!!!! thanks alot for not waiting another 6 months for me, jerk. just kidding :)

jem, be honoured. this is the first time i used colour font, albeit it be out of my servere boredom. and you better enjoy monday, or i'm gonna make sure i don't have to organise another outing for your birthday next year, if you know what i mean. heh heh heh...

once again, my fingers are moving by themselves. ok, not by themselves, but they are moved by a series of muscle contractions and slight wrist movements, with the support of the arms that move the fingers over to the keys they are supposed to push down on.

oh, i completed house of the dead 2 with jem two days ago :) spent like, $5 dollars on it. pathetic, i know, but it's such a fun game! addictive. the final boss, took jem and i 2 credits to figure out why we weren't doing any damage to him.

i want my leather jacket from far east! i know it sounds weird, me wanting a leather jacket, but it looks so cool! so "gerard way"-ish. muahahahaha. but it costs like $80. if i bought it would have:

a)emptied my bank account, and
b)been killed by my parents for buying something like that without telling them.

it looks so cool, ask jem, he was there with me. after that as we walked around far east and later plaza sing, whenever we came across leather jackets we were like, "hmm, that one was better."

this is the first time i'm going crazy over a leather jacket. normally i go for sweaters, and i only 2 of them, one of which i've kinda outgrown. (HINT! HINT!) but then again my birthday isn't coming anytime soon. 6 months one day. by then i would have gotten over the craving.

surprised that i can actually blog till this far. normally when i have something to recount, it takes me ages to remember details. goes to show that randomness is the best.

man... came back from a tough two days of DES student ambassador training. tiring and stress. now i know why the cca has a 80% drop-out rate. let me give you a brief idea of what the camp was like.

on the first day, sometime in the afternoon they got some graduate who was from SA to come back and give us some "random tekang", meaning he came back for the purpose of stressing us out through interview. imagine that. and second day, which i just returned home from 40 minutes ago, there was an activity where we had to plan out simulated events like CCN day and stuff in 10 to 15 minutes. the worse was the last one.

our group had 6 people, and we were given the task of planning parent's night for about 400-500 people. in the first few minutes of planning, they got four of us to go out of the room, leaving the other 2 to plan. and every few minutes they alternate us, one go in, on come out. and the stressful part is when the new person comes in, the one still there had to explain to him/her what was planned so far, and by the time we finish we only have like literally 1 minute to get down to planning before they switch us. and we had to come up with a detailed plan within 15 minutes. killer...

but the reason why they made us go through it is because it was exactly what the two people in charge of this year's parent's night went through. by the last hour before the event actually started the venues for the places where the briefing of each course wasn't even confirmed and was continually changing. poor guys.

but this thing ain't all that bad, except for the fact that paintball was cancelled (sigh). i made a few new friends, and together we formed the rah-rah gang in there, shouting while playing games like tongkat. very interesting bunch of people, not to mention funny. the whole thing ended around 9, and the people who were still up for it went for dinner till 10, which would explain why i came home so late.

sigh. i don't wanna sound like some whiny emo kid, but sometimes i feel like i have two different sides. one is the happy, joking, always smiling one, and the other is the moody kind, making me inflict pain on myself just for the fun of it. don't panic, i'm not emo or suicidal, all i do is either dig my nails into my skin or start punching walls, nothing harmful like slashing my wrists. i know where's the limit. but sometimes some things can really tick me off, and it's always the same thing. may not be the same person(s), but it's the same thing. hate it.

ah well, will have to live with it.

went to watch pirates today with my class mates at vivo.it was great, no matter what people say.abit confusing, withthis person betraying that person, that person in turn betraying another person, who found out and turned the table on that person, stuff like that. also, the part where calypso was released from her human form into her goddess form was kinda lame, with her becoming gigantic and talking with that deep, giant-y voice. but besides that, awesome movie. i suggested to the others to stay till the credits end for the final scene, to see if maybe it would preview the next movie, if there was one. but turns out, the ending scene was stupid, as in, it didn't say much.
spoilers ahead, this is for those who missed the last part. the movie ended with will turner taking over davy jones' place as captain of the flying dutchman, and was thus forced to ferry dead souls from one world to the other forever, and could only come to surface once every ten years for a day. as you know, the movie had will and elizabeth "ensuring the survival of the human race" at the end. the scene after the credits shows elizabeth after ten years going to a shore with her son (presumably 10 years old, otherwise it wouldn't be will's), and the flying dutchman bursts out from the sea, with will turner on it. thats it. after that the people seating beside me were looking at me and going "that's it? we sat through the credits for that? who was the one who suggested this?"
after the movie, we slacked around vivo, and after jill and her friend left us, we went to food republic for dinner, i think, where clinton left us. afterwards we slacked around vivo some more, where i tormented betty with the big red ball story. good thing none of the others knew how it ended, as they didn't have the patience to listen to the whole thing. after that, betty and i left, and the rest probably slacked around in toys 'r us.
2.50 now. i'm supposed to be sleeping since long ago, but alas, the draw of need for speed carbon was to great for me to bear. so i guess i'll end now and maybe get some much needed rest.

my blog is a year old!!! woooooooohoooooo!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!! and in about 20 more posts, it's gonna hit one hundred! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I ROCK!!!!

back from 4 straight days of EmeRge! 07, and it's been SUPER SHIOK!!! WOOOOOT!!!! very high now, haha, haven't shouted like that since Design Orientation Camp. the songs this year are fantastic, the praise songs really gets you off your feet and jumping, and the worship songs are really close to heart.

breakaway~~ i'm living for You!

in the past four days, people such as Tank and Liu Ge Hong (i think that's how his name is spelt) performed for us. F.I.R would have too, but the adminstrative stuff couldn't be settled in time, so they didn't perform, although Fei 'er came to visit. sun was there too, but she didn't sing. guess she just came back for a break and to enjoy the event. and the Ge Hong guy actually proposed to Vivi Wang (Miss, Taipei or Taiwan 1999) onstage while performing, serenading her with a song. i don't normally say this but, so sweet... haha.

great four days, great message, great praise and worship, great performances, and most of all, great God.

oh, p.s., TP/RP cluster got 2nd place for parade of schools!!! FYI for the benefit of those who don't know what POS is, it's where school perform cheerleading stuff, like throwing people into the air and stuff, shouting out cheers, although this is definitely much more entertaining than a row of pretty things shouting and waving pom-poms. it's much more energetic, and TP/RP's performance was like something right out of the movie Stomp the Yard. reeeaaallllyyy cool.

we lost out to the NTU cluster for POS. and overall for the whole of the EmeRge 07 competitions, TP/RP came in fourth, right after (-_-) NTU, and SIM/SMU came in 2nd, with JC/CI leading the pack. we were so close to being top three. nevermind, will try again next year, and i'm gonna join POS also :)

turns out i'm not gonna go for the student ambassador camp tomorrow after all. times weren't confirmed, so they'll tell us tomorrow. well, at least i have one day to rest after 4 jam packed ones. and we've been told there's gonna be paintball! woots! always wanted to try out one of those.

so i guess that's it from me then. goodbye, cruel world, here's JY signing off forever!

yea right, you're not getting rid of me that easily.
