yea, gonna leave delifrance on sunday! woohoo!!!
but so sad, gotta miss a service cause my whole extended family is celebrating my grandfather's birthday on saturday night, and have to work on sunday morning. haven't missed a week's service in one whole year. so sad...but once i go through those glass doors on sunday, i'm free! zilah gonna leave one week after me, and kinah a week after her. she's so bitter that everyone's leaving before her. haha, sorry...haven't blogged in quite a while, so gonna start on tuesday.went out to the void deck beside YI with zilah, james, yuting, sharon, kok and fiez. played badminton and skated (more like rolling along on james'/fiez's/kok's board. i am so bad at skateboarding...). didn't play basketball with the rest though. i may be bad but skateboarding is still fun. well, we started out the day waiting at the badminton court. james was with me, zilah and yuting went to zilah's house to get rackets and the rest had yet to arrive. so there i was, sitting on the umpire's chair, withjames below me playing tennis on my phone, when umesh's brother came up to us and said "hello i'm diva!"
ok, what he actually said was "can i play badminton with you?"james and i refused, and he just kept pestering us, but we stood our ground. and so he kept pestering us, all the way till sharon arrived, then when she too refused, he continued on, so sharon picked up my racket with the intention of thrashing him and getting him to leave. the wind was on nobody's side, as it turned out, so most of the shots from both ends ended up unreturned, though sharon beat him in the end.halfway through, kok and fiez arrived on skateboards, so after sharon beat the guy, and the little diva still refused to leave, kok decided took my racket from sharon. don't know who won, though i can't say any side did better than the other. kok abandoned the game halfway through and passed the racket to me (never could hang on to anything, that guy. haha kidding). i wouldn't say i did very well, cause, once again, the wind interfered. but in the end i still beat him, and after losing so many times and with the numbers obviously against him, he had no choice but to leave. he still walk around the area, though. i think at one point he touched james' board and he screamed at him. the nerve of that guy. he was barely above my elbow, and still dared to come up to us. not that i'm saying that we are some rude gangsters or anything, but it's obvious that people of his and our age don't mix. ah well, divas will always be divas (fyi: for those who have no idea what i mean by "diva" it's an inside joke with all the 4e2-ers, so don't mind it).nothing eventful happened after that. ate, skateboard, slacked. we talked about many things, from things that happened in the past 2 years we were together to the "classic" actions of a select few, most notably edward chiang, who, unfortunately, could not join us that day. don't worry, though, it's nothing negative. an example would be how he used to smile even when barnwell was scolding him.after that, we all went home. bade zilah goodbye, then left james and fiez at the bus stop, before kok went seperate ways with us while we walked to the interchange. went over to pastamania, said hi to meihui, with me insulting her cleaning, and left for home after that.worked 3-11 on both wednesday and thursday, and gonna work 5-11 on friday, which is today, rest on saturday, morning shift on sunday and after that, i'm done! woohoo! praise the Lord! just hope what i earned is enough for A&B...ah well, maybe gonna go eat that chicken spaghetti my parents bought for me for "dinner".i've decided not to say cya at the end of posts anymore, cause i think it's kind of lame, albeit a convenient way to sign off without saying much.gonna just leave this post hanging...
