Tuesday

watched The Omen with edward, kok, wk, wj, mesh, james, zilah, yuting, marinah and mei hui.

after the bio remedial, everyone except james, mesh and me went to west mall for lunch, or something...not quite sure what they did there. james didn't bring enough cash, so the 3 of us went to his house to get it. the first thing me and mesh did when we got there was play miniature golf. the ball just refused to go in for me, just like the basketball (for more info refer to previous post). after that james turned on the com and started playing metal slug. he's quite good, the way he dodges the bullets. there was one part where 3 missiles came and him and he literaly shouted out "how am supposed to dodge this?!" right after the words came out of his mouth he dodged it...

after he quit the game, i suggested playing gunbound, since we still had time. we used my account :) we went into a room where there was this guy who kept playing 1v1 with us, and didn't leave, so we all had the same opponent. i did ok with him, even though i've been deproving like mad lately. james won one and lost one. and umesh was the worst. in the first match he somehow managed to hit himself times, and rounded it up by killing himself, losing me about 3 or 4 gp. the second match he did SLIGHTLY better, but i think he still lost. haha. he still had the cheek to say james was lousy when he missed a shot, so james and i countered by saying "at least he didn't hit himself," which successfully shut him up.

here's an anecdote:
james and his family got sick of his house in the condo, so they decided to move..........to another apartment 3 blocks away in the same condo area... -_-"

after that we left for west mall to watch the movie. nothing eventful happened, except for the fact that edward hid his face while watching AGAIN. he did that in "samara" and "the maid", which i can overlook since they are both horror movies, but "the omen"?!

the part i liked about the movie was when the woman jumped at the guy from behind. almost everyone was startled and set back together, as though it was synchronised. lol... james and wj didn't, though. apparently they had "expected it". after the movie, i went home to play the sims (yea, version one...pathetic right?). it's amazing what you can make them do. the female is now a competent potion brewer, and the guy plays electric guitar quite well. but i have to remind myself at the end of the day that it's fake...

Wednesday

went to the science centre for the DNA Extraction workshop. learned about DNA extraction (duh...) i also learnt why edward is such a cowar-, i mean not much of a risktaker. it's because he has very little of a certain gene. either that or he has none at all.

after the workshop, the same group who watched the omen minus james, zilah and marinah plus adi and sharon went to LJS. again, not very eventful, but now i can officially declare myself broke.
