finally back, after a few days. if you're wondering why i went M.I.A. in these few days, its cause i went for the Ex-W330 chalet :)
Tuesday:
after the stupid english thing, which, incidentally, costs $20 per session for 5 sessions, (ARGH!!!!! I CAN'T INSTALL SILENT HILL 3!!!!NO!!!!!!! NOT AGAIN!!!!!!NOT ANOTHER FUN GAME I CAN'T INSTALL!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok sorry, that was completely random), we (henzy, min and i) went to henzy's house to get his stuff. after that, we walked to min's house to get her stuff. we did not go to my house, cause i brought my stuff with me :) after that, we went back to interchange and took an MRT to Dhoby Ghaut, i think, and had lunch there (pastamania!!! woohoo!!! only downside, it made me poor!!!)
after that we went to harbour front, before taking a bus to sentosa and then to Costa Sands Resort, or something...haha, i can't remember the name of the place where i stayed at for 2 days. when we reached there, we went to room 213 and 215, which are merged by a doorway. min got excited when she heard the tv on in 213 that she said very loudly "we're here!!!" and other things. suddenly, a man's voice said "who are you looking for?' and i scared us. but it turned out to be david's dad...haha. so after that incident we went to room 215, and found something...disturbing. apparently, our dear anna had poured the contents of a cup of instant noodles down the sink, choking it...it looked, as i said, disturbing.
after settling down, we went down to the bbq pit to meet up with the rest of the guys. and we barbequed some chicken, sausages and other stuff... after a while, the fire in the pit died down, and we took out the wire mesh full of food and placed it on 2 chairs to restart the fire. not long later, isaac decided to pull out one of the chairs to sit on, thereby earning him the right to wash all the chickens and sausages that dropped on the floor.
after the bbq, we went back to our rooms. by then, david's parents had already left, so we did not have to squeeze. haha. there were 5 people in our room (213), daniel, jeremiah, yi quan, john and me, and 6 in theirs, david, isaac, henzy, min, rach and anna. they managed to maximise their space, with the 3 guys sleeping on the hard bed supports and the girls sleeping on the beds which were pulled down to the floor. but our room was like, so narrow, and we did not have space to pull down the beds, so 5 ppl had to squeeze into 2 single beds put together. definitely not comfortable.
anyways, after we came back, we decided to bathe. i found out, to my horror, that i had brought pants, but not shirts!!! so that night i borrowed jeremiah's shirt. haha. we had a 5-people quiet time after that. just sat down, sang songs and prayed. we had breakthrough, we did it for more then 1 hour. haha after that, jeremiah told me this tragic story about a boy named jeremiah. if you ask me i'll tell you, just make sure you don't ask me online. the story was oddly captivating...haha. went to bed after that. we didn't sleep until 3.30am, we just kept laughing and laughing. that's what you get when you get 5 guy squeezed into 2 beds
Wednesday:
i woke up at about 6, when everyone was still sleeping. i managed to squeeze myself out of the bed (quite a feat, considering i was stuffed between yi quan and jeremiah). i went out of the room and sat at the doorway, cause the room was just too cold... so i sat there for quite long, standing up occasionally, waiting for people to wake up.
there wasn't much to do there, so we took out a pack of cards and started playing. john went down to buy breakfast, but poor me was to pathetically poor to buy breakfast, so i ate the instant noodles there. we played for a while, then went to the beach for a while before going back to resort to swim. the stupid john kept trying to drown me for no apparent reason...jeremiah did
some acrobatics or something, kinda cool. after tha, he and yi quan started doing some"high risk maneuvers", lifting min up clear into the sky while in the pool. very nice.
went back to the room after that and bathed, the we got news that benny was coming over, so me, ana, min and yi quan went to delifrance outside the bus stop to wait for her. i was still poor, so obviousy i couldn't buy anything... :( when benny came we walked back to the resort and prepared for cell group.
it started out fun, with us singing SOS and Destiny. then Take All Of Me. after that benny shared a word with us, and we sang Take All Of Me again. this time, benny went around laying hands on us and praying for us while we sang. when she got to daniel, who was beside me, my hand started to shake a little.
when she got to me, she put her hads on my head and prayed. the prescence of Holy Spirit was so strong that my whole body started trembling. when she was done, she went to rachel. my body was like trembling now so i rested my head on the bed support and cried a little. i think that was the first time the Holy Spirit touched me in such a way.
after the cell group, some of them wanted to go barbeque, but i decided to stay back with some people and watched tv. after quite some time, i went down to join them, finding out to my "horror" that they had finished all the food and were left with eggs, so they started barbequeing them on pieces of aluminium foil. quite tasty, actually. haha. went to bed after that. this time we managed to make more room for ourselves, so we slept better.
Thursday:
woke up at around 8-9 and brushed my teeth. after that, i played blacjack with eddy (he came somewhere around 8pm wednsday). kept losing, don't know why. then daniel got up, and we played big 2 with him. for six straight rounds i got the diamond 3, earning me the right to start first. i was like "who has the diamond 3?" then when i saw i had it, "oh, me" and this happened 6 times, mind you. and out of the 6 matches, i didn't win 2 :P then jeremiah joined, ad i never touched the diamond 3 again, and only won once. haha
after pcking, we left at around 10am. we travelled to harbour front station and ate breakfast at the coffeeshop there. after that, we went home, where i had a 6-hour nap. woohoo! haha. nothing much happened after that. so, overall, the chalet was quite fun.
