had to go to Singapore Polytechnic today to check out the courses there. Planned with a few of the 4e2 gang to meet at 7.30 outside Buzz in BB inter yesterday (or rather 21 hours ago), so i set the alarm on my phone to go off at 7.
at 7, the alarm went off, but i was only subconcious when i heard it. started singing along to the song ( si mian chu ge) for a fewseconds then turned off the alarm and went back to sleep. the SP thing wasn't even on my mind.
36 minutes later, i heard a phone vibrating. i was still subconcious and dreaming, and in my dream i was lying on my bed and holding my phone, so when i saw that it wasn't mine, i started looking around for the source of it. good thing my maid was there, she woke me up and gave me my phone ( i looked at the phone in my hand and was actually surprised when i didn't see it). i pressed the accept button and put the phone to my ear, and said drowsily, "hello?".

wee kang's voice came from the phone, and he said, "hello, where are you?"

my eyes openen immediately. "oh crap oh crap oh crap oh crap oh crap!" (i'm not exaggerating, go ask wee kang) the maid said "what?". apparently she thought i was talking to her. i was too shocked to reply her, so i continued oh crap-ing. talked with wee kang for a few more seconds to find out who was there, before finally getiing up to brush my teeth. then i went to my room, toothbrush still brushing, and grabbed my shirt and put it on. went back to the toilet to spit out the bubbles and rinse my mouth before rushing back to my room to get fully dressed. grabbed my phone and my bag, walked out of the room, grabbed my water bottle, went to the doorway, wore my shoes. the maid then asked if i brought my phone, since i forget to bring it from time to time. i checked my pockets and didn't feel it, so i rushed back to my room to get it. looked around for about 30 seconds, and couldn't find it, then i looked i at my left hand...ARGH!!!!!!! then i rushed back to the doorway, left the house and rushed to the interchange. amazing thing was, from the time wee kang called me in my bed, to the time i reached there, i only took 20 minutes. woohoo! so, went to SP with them afterwards.
nothing eventful happened until me, kok and henzy went for the gaming class. the teacher handed out chocolates for answering question correctly. together, the three of us robbed her of like, 10 or more chocolates, henzy 3, me 5 and kok 2. the main reason i was so enthunsiastic to answer was because there was this white kid there, and he got like 2 answers correct, so shouted out and answer and started getting competitive for the fun of it. now, let me tell you a little about the questions. they were something like this:
what do you need to play an internet game? ans: internet connection, computer, web browser, etc

and it was 1 chocolate for one correct answer. so that was how we could answer so many of her questions. then, i got a sms from min, saying she was going to town to shop with her friends and askd if i wanted to join, so i thought, what the heck, and me, henzy and kok snuck out of that place. i'm sure the teacher won't notice the disappearance of the loudest group there. final score: white kid 4, me 5. muahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

during the 2nd SP Experience (ShoPping Experience), i suddenly remembered one thing, how i used to, and still disliked shopping. i was just following the group, keeping silent all the way. apparently min wasn't used to this, as i irritate her every saturday, and now i'm not, so she actually asked me to irritate her. best i could manage was a smile. hey, don't blame me, but i just don't like to talk that much in crowds bigger than 3-4 people. so, after that, we went home at 5+, and when i reached home, i didn't do much, so i went to my bed and fell unconscious before my head hit the pillow (haha, jk). when i woke up, i thought i had slept through the night, and woke up at 7+, since the lighting around me was the same as the lighting at that time. but then i checked my watch and found out that it was only 9, so i got up and started blogging. now i'm still blogging...still blogging...and still blogging...ok i'll stop here.

Saturday:
had brunch with my mom at west mall's mayim...ate the 'dan dan mian' there...nice...after that i still had about 40 minutes before bible study at mac with winnie and min, so i walked around west mall with my mom...she bought me a new bag, pencil case (that has the same design with the bag, just to force you to buy both...money-faced idiots...) and a new shirt!!! :D thank God!! my old bag was still useable but had a rip near the opening, so might as well get a new bag... anyway after that met winnie and min. winnie gave us our first Christian Lifestyle lesson, since we finished Getting Started last week...after that, went for service..it was great man, although pastor kong wasn't there, pastor tan took over, and he talked about empowerment...oh, and the church had a couple of new songs to sing too, quite nice...jephtha was supposed to meet us, but he didn't came..after the service we met up with him and apparently he sat in the same section as we were, we just didn't see each other..haha...after that wthe three of us took the mrt back to west mall interchange together, and jephtha went home...as i was meeting gabriel later on at the bus stop outside PEPS at 9.30pm, and there was still 40 minutes, so followed min to WM food court and watched her eat dinner (faster than usual...hmm...)...henzy joined us after a while and then they went off, and i met up with gabriel, then went home...the original plan was for us to watch some sitcom on channel 5 at 10, before watching The Ring at 10.30, but since my grandfather was watching the news, we only watched the movie...didn't mind though, since i'd never watched or heard of a sitcom called 'My Name Is Earl', i just love to watch sitcoms :) watching The Ring, i realised that i would be more scared had i watched it alone..with gabriel, the whole movie became more like a comedy than a horror film...that's just how he and i are when we're together...


Sunday:
when the movie ended at 12.45 (or some time around there), we watched the next show, The Sketch Show..haha...it was funny...it's a show with a series of short clips about 30 seconds long, and it's quite funny...example:

Sailor looking through the periscope at the enemy ship: Enemy sighted, preparing to fire.
Captain: Fire!
Sailor:Firing in 3...2...1...
(periscope view suddenly gets blocked)
Sailor: Aw, it timed out. Anyone got a quarter?
hahahaha....it might not seem funny here, but when you watch it it's funny...i'm just not good at telling stories...
anyways, we watched tv after that for awhile, before switching to the com...decided to watch Scary Movie 4..also funny, but i won't even attempt to give examples now...just go watch the movie yourself...after that we played some games...freaking GunzOnline took forever to load (1b/s!!! WHAT THE..!!!) so we ended playing other games...then gabriel went to sleep while i continued for awhile, before sleeping at 5+am...
woke up at 9+, had breakfast, then played com again...Gunz still didn't load so he never got the chance to play it here (haha)..after he left i watched gundam seed destiny on youtube and ended the whole day at episode 39 going on 40
Monday:
O Level MT paper today...surprisingly, i could do both papers!!! praise the Lord!!! let's hope my "winning streak" with chinese exams increase to 2 this time, after the mid-years (mock exams don't count, since i never did them seriously).
after both the papers, me, edward, gabriel, kheng yeow, ivan chew, jun hao and melvin went to watch X-Men 3: The Last Stand...it ROCKED!!! the story was good, no matter what others say...the action was also great...but there were 3 faults in the movie, as stated below:

1)ice man vs the flame dude battle lasted too short!!! there was the cliche power beam thingy, with both sides shooting ice and fire from both ends, and the fire was drawing closer to bobby (ice man)...soon, it enveloped him, and bobby then turned his whole body into ice and punched the flame dude, then gave him a ice-headbutt which knocked him out "cold"..haha, i know, it's lame...

2)it seems the only one who can fly gracefully in the movie is Magneto...when storm flew, it was more like she was standing still and just floating around...Jean Grey aka Marvel Girl (yes, that was her alias before Phoenix...little wonder why she would rather go by her real name...) was worse...when she flew it was like she was in 'sediah' position, the whole body standing straight...guess that's what happens when they didn't fly while Bryan Singer was still the director...

3)there's this scene whereby Mr Hank aka The Beast thrusts 4 darts loaded with the mutant cure into Magneto's chest, and they were in the box formation, like, 2 by 2...in the next scene, however, the darts magically transformed into a straight line position..,probably it was for easy removal for Sir Ian Mckellen...

anyway, the movie rocked...fave character still wolverine, since he is the main character...was kinda surprised at the early deaths of Scott aka Cyclops and Professor Xavier though... i mean, i knew they were going to die, but i didn't expect it to be so soon... i thought they would have gone in a full scale war, instead of leaving 6 mutants to fight the whole Brotherhood...well, as i said, the movie rocked... go watch it, or you'll miss out on alot...except if you've issed X-Men 1 and 2, then you have already missed out on alot, so it doesn't matter whether you miss out more or not...wonder if there will be a part 4, judging by the way it ended...
well, i'll stop here...this was the longest post i've made so far, but then again, it's only my fifth one, so, yeah...bye

well, there's good news, and then there's really bad news, and then the treally realy sian news.
Good news: mock exams are over!!! finally!!!!woohoo!!!!
Really bad news: O Lvl Chinese Paper coming up on monday...NOOOOOooooo......
REALLY REALLY SIAN news: my holidays will be packed with remedials....worse, i can't make it for the W330 cell group chalet because of the FREAKIN ENGLISH THING THAT I CANNOT SKIP BECAUSE IT COSTS A HUNDRED BUCKS!!!!!!.

you know, having o lvls now, kinda reminds you that this is your last year...the friends you made, it may just be the last time you'll ever see them again...people who you were close to, whom you could confide in about anything, may just be the person walking down the street 2 years later whom you see and give an awkward nod to, before continuing on your way...thinking about that is just sad...why can't secondary life last forever?

today was a sian day...i'm sure many YISS sec 4 express/5normal would agree with me...4 hours of chinese exams! the breaks should last longer... anyway, 2 more days of the same thing to endure...assembly, 2 hours of compo/letter writing, 25 minutes break, 2 hours of paper 2, 25 minutes break, class, go home...plus IT at 3 for IT ppl on wednesday, parent meeting at 4.20 on thursday...looking forward to friday though, last day (WOOHOOOOOOOO-), and then we're gonna have remedials for the first and last week of the holidays(-OOOOoooo....ARGH!!!!!)...

I hate Secondary Four life.

ok...today was a shitty day...lemme tell you the shitty events in a shitty chronological manner...

1) i was standing at the top of the bomb shelter, cause my bag was there and i was about to come down, but i looked at my phone and saw a message from someone (better not name) saying she forgot her thermometer, and while i was reading i was standing there like an idiot, and got called down by adam... but, as usual, i got off with a "threat", meaning "if i ever catch you climbing the thing again ah, i will..." can't remember what he said, wasn't really listening, and also he thinks speaking softly makes him more scary, but it just makes him less audible...

2)got caught by mr koh while play soccer with the guys..the ball we were playing was the one we found in the field, and we were called down for that...apparently they had lost many balls...from 40 to 15, and just because we were playing he expects us to pay for them, the balls costing $20 each... THAT IS FREAKING UNREASONABLE!!!!!! if you'd take good care of your precious balls then they would not get lost!!!!count them after every PE session!!! write 'YISS' on every ball so we'd know who they belong to!!! well, i'm not gonna pay though, let 'em call my parents, i don't care, my parents are reasonable people...

so there, 2 shitty events. off to watch gundam seed destiny to "relieve stress"...
